The Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate is responsible for advising the Minister of Education and for monitoring higher education in South Africa on its ongoing development. Our work is focused on gathering, interpreting and disseminating information about the higher education system. We are also responsible for the CHE resource centre and publications.
