Daya Gobind was appointed on 1 November 2007 as a Project Administrator in the National Reviews Directorate of the HEQC. He now works in both the National Reviews and Accreditation Directorates. He has a BA Degree and a Higher Diploma in Library Science. He has lectured in the field of Resource Centre Management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1992-1998. He also worked as an Administrator in the African Forum for Children's Literacy in Science and Technology (AFCLIST) from 1999-2006. He has held numerous workshops on science education in various African countries as part of his duties in AFCLIST.
