Mr Matsebatlela joined the CHE in June 2010 as a Manager in the Institutional Audits Directorate. Before joining the CHE he worked as a Marketing Manager at First National Bank, and a Communication Specialist at ATIO. From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a Communication Lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. Prior to that he lectured at the Tshwane University of Technology and at Boston City Campus in Polokwane.
He completed a BA Honours (English) and a Higher Education Diploma at the University of Limpopo in Turfloop. In 2001 he completed an MPhil in Second Language Studies from Stellenbosch University, followed by an MTech in Education (Cum Laude) from Tshwane University of Technology in 2005. He furthered his studies at Stellenbosch University, completing his Mphil in Journalism in 2009.
He is passionate about tennis, soccer, documentaries, biographies and also sings in a church choir. He is currently doing some preparatory work on his PhD. |
