Fundiswa joined the CHE on 1 October 2008 as a Project Administrator. From 2005, she worked for the Academy of Science of South Africa as an Office Administrator. She completed her BCom in Economics at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (Port Elizabeth branch). She is currently registered with UNISA, where she is doing her honours degree in Economics.
Fundiswa is interested in travelling, site-seeing, interacting with people of different cultures, music and walking.
