Presentation by the CHE at the launch of its report on 'The State of the Provision of the MBA in South Africa. (reference: Higher Education Monitor - The State of the Provision of the MBA in South Africa) on 9 November 2004 at a meeting held at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria. The report takes as its point of departure the results of the re-accreditation of the MBA programmes done by the Higher Education Quality Committee contextualises the provision of MBA programmes within both South African higher education and international debates on MBA programmes. The report focuses particularly on issues of teaching and learning and the relationships between MBA programmes and national developmental needs.
