The Council on Higher Education wishes to inform all stakeholders that the CHE office will be closed for the festive

Ms Vuyokazi Matsam joined the CHE as a Human Resources Manager in July 2010. In April 2011 she was appointed as a Director: Corporate Services, where she is responsible for the management of the Human Resources, ICT, Facilities, Internal Communication and Services.

Vuyo as she is affectionately known has extensive experience gained in various industries that include the automotive, manufacturing, engineering and management consulting. Before joining the CHE Vuyo worked as General Manager: Human Capital at Transnet Rail Engineering, (division of Transnet).

Vuyo holds a B. Com (Auditing & Business Management) from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, a Diploma in Human Resources Management, a B.Tech in Business Administration and has completed a Strategic Human Resources Management Programme at the University of Cape Town. She is currently finalising her Master in Business Administration (MBA). Vuyo regards herself as a true HR activist who has a passion for people development. 

In her spare time Vuyo enjoys reading, travelling, listening to jazz and is a very adventurous cook.
