As a celebration of our journey in being and becoming an ODL institution in the service of humanity, Unisa will host the HELTASA 2013 conference from 27 - 29 November.
Abstract submissions are now open. Please click on this link to access the template in MSWord format and information about the submission process and formats.
Please take note that since the ‘First Call for Papers’ was published, the variety of possible formats of presentations were adapted, as well as the required minimum number of words in the submission of the abstract. The variety of formats will not only add to the general quality of the papers at the conference, but also create lively and energetic spaces for engagement and sharing.
In response to concerns raised in feedback on HELTASA2012 regarding the quality of some of the presentations, we decided to increase the minimum number of words required in the abstracts. This will allow the Vetting Committee to be able to have more information on which to base their evaluation of the submissions.
Abstracts that were submitted based on the requirements in the ‘First Call for Papers” will, however, not be disqualified. The Vetting Committee will, however, base their evaluations on the information presented in the submission.
Extended abstracts can be submitted till 16 August 2013.
